Spotlighting takes place once a month. It is during this time that a students progression is assessed. In order for a student to qualify they must have attended a minimum of 8 lessons.

On spotlight days they have a tab test when 3 tabs have been awarded they then qualify to grade for the next belt level.

Children must also complete a belt qualification form, This unique form includes items such as completing their homework to keeping their bedroom tidy, this form must be completed by teachers, parents and academy instructors.
